Who We Are
Risen Scepter Ministries was incorporated on September 14th, 2000. RSM lanched its site in 2007. Therefore we are a young, vibrant and growing fellowship of internet based believers unified by their love for, and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, determined to declare His name to the current generation in a culturally relevant way.
This determination is born of the belief that our sovereign God places each successive generation of believers according to His good pleasure and purpose that they might impact their world for Christ.
RSM is a non-denominational expression of the universal body of Christ. Our desire is to build a community of believers that is diverse culturally and economically; where no one is intimidated or kept from fellowship because of background, clothing, money, or past failure.
We are committed to actively seek those that have been forgotten, disenfranchised, or set side aside; those which have been hurt and emotionally scarred as a result of others actions, their own wrong choices, or simply from living in a fallen world steeped in sin. To those it will be proclaimed their own value and worth which is to be found in the image that God has placed in them, and the blood of the Savior that was shed on their behalf.
RSM declares the Word of God in an uncompromising fashion, devoid of the shallowness that has infused itself with much of contemporary Christianity, yet with tenderness that expresses the love of God and the compassion of Christ. Further the Word is not only proclaimed verbally, but also in deed as those that the Lord has gathered to us find their place of ministry and family, and therefore become a living expression of that love.
